Key Ingredients

Alpha-Arbutine: a naturally derived substance, usually found in cranberries, blueberries and pears with melanin-inhibiting properties. Used as both a skin lightener, and to help remove age spots, blotches and freckles.
Licorice extract: is a powder Tyrosinase inhibitor. It is also an excellent anti-oxidant; this ingredient is 25 times more effective than Kojic acid.
Salicylic Acid: is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA). It is a multifunctional ingredient that addresses many causes of blemishes. For decades dermatologists have prescribed it an exceedingly effective exfoliant, but it also is an anti-irritant. Salicylic Acid has ant microbial properties. It is also well documented that it can improve skin thickness, barrier functions, and collagen production, and is far more gentle then alpha-hydroxy acids, such as Glycolic Acid. BHA’s have the ability to penetrate into the pore (AHAs do not), and thus can exfoliate inside the pore as well on the surface of the skin; that makes it effective for reducing blemishes, including blackheads and whiteheads.
Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate: is a very specific form of Vitamin-C that is used. One of the main benefits of Vitamin-C is cosmetic products is its brightening/whitenening effect on the skin. However, Vitamin-C is very unstable, and very difficult to get into the skin. Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate delivers actual Vitamin-C 50-times better then Ascorbic Acid. Saxifraga Sarmentosa Extract: is a blend of natural botanicals that comes from 370 species of highly resistant perennials found in mountainous regions. They have been shown to be anti-inflammatory, to trap free radicals, and also reduce the skin damage caused by UV radiation.
